Sandford Coffee and Side Tables

A collaborative project with Carleton Design Studio, the brilliance of these tables lies in their flexibility. Together, they form a single coffee table; apart they serve as side tables for a sofa-bed.

Materials

Solid Mahogany blocks, remnant from veneer manufacturing; 3/8" P&O steel plate; 5/8" socket-head bolts; post-catalyzed lacquer.
